Novare Group(developer of Avenue Uptown) broke ground on their second residential high-rise in Charlotte. The ground breaking ceremony was attended by executives of Novare, the Mayor, and other city and county officials.
This latest development named Catalyst will be a 27-story residential tower with 462 units. Prices are expected to run in the high $100's to the mid $300's. Floor plans will be largely 1BR and 1BR + Den with only a few 2BR floor plans.
The targeted customer will be the younger entry-level buyers that are so dominant in the city's economy. The building will feature all of the amenities that Novare is known for: Pool, Fitness Center, Community Room, Concierge, floor to ceiling glass, balconies on every unit.
Sales are projected to begin in the Spring of '08 with occupancy beginning in the Winter/Spring of '09.
