2nd Ward's second residential structure has just topped out it's construction. An American flag and tree sit(both traditional symbols) atop the structure to show that the building is as tall as it will be. The 21 story tower will feature a doorman who will accept packages, meet guests and provide 24-hour security for the building and its residents. It will also feature a secured mail and information center which will be located in the lobby for easy access day or night. A remote entry system will be available for guest parking and building entry as well. The Park will feature a rooftop park inspired by the rooftop park at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. The park will include gardens, a walking path, pool and Skylight Pavilion, a three-hole putting green and a fitness center. One of the truly unique features of the building will be the four-pipe circulating water heating and cooling system that will provide residents odorless, moist air and instant continuous hot water. Since beginning pre-sales in 2000, The Park has seen little progress over the years and has had it's fair share of speculation. The building is standing in the heart of the Uptown and is a welcomed member of the community.
